How long in general does it take for an egg to hatch?

    The amount of time it takes any pet to grow varies a lot, it isn't always the same even within the same species. If you want a rough estimate, you can check the adoption page (since you are asking about eggs, you would check the hatchery) for a general idea. For hatchery pets, it says most will be fully grown within 30 days, but some may take more or less time.

    You can also check the archive and filter by your desired species to see if there is a general trend, as well. If you adopted your monthly pets late, you can check the September Outcomes Thread (every monthly outcome thread will always be sticked at the top of the Chicken Smoothie Discussion forum) to see all potential outcomes and what day they grow as users discover them. If you want it to be a surprise though, you'll just have to check every day to see if any of your eggs have hatched (:
