How to make an oekaki drawing into a forum post? [Answered]

Postby Hexxed » Sun Jul 03, 2022 10:30 am

I've seen a couple drawings that, when clicked from the gallery, go to a Forum post, instead of a usual Oekaki post. The Forums are General Art Shops or Character Sales and Design Shops. But when posting a drawing, I don't see an option to post to these Forums, and on the Forums you don't have the option to start a drawing.

How do you post a drawing outside of the Oekaki forums?

It is not possible to do something like that.

If you want to sell offsite art, or have a masterpost of all adopts, you can make a topic in one of the forums here: Forum/viewforum.php?f=101 . These will not show up in your gallery.

For on-oekaki adopts, you can post here: Forum/viewforum.php?f=29 . These will show up in your gallery.

Well, you can screenshot an oekaki and upload it to an outside forum

Hi there,

This can only be done by a moderator. It is only done in rare situations where the topic never should have been an oekaki post in the first place. For example, an artist making an oekaki art shop, but they never use oekaki to fulfill the commission. Or, a character design shop which only sells adopts made from another program. Instead of locking these for spam, some moderators may elect to move the topic instead depending on the circumstances. It still preforms like a regular topic once moved to the correct board, but may still be attached to the oekaki gallery.

Users should try their best to just create their topic in the appropriate category to start with.
