I'm sorry if this comes across as rude, but I'm sorta new and still figuring out CS (Still), when do the summer events usually start?

Here are the previous starting dates for summer events:
2011: July 18
2012: July 14
2013: July 23
2014: July 25
2015: July 25
2016: July 15
2017: July 22
2018: July 21
2019: July 27
2020: July 25
2021: July 17

It's generally mid to late July, and often a Saturday. There should be an announcement on the home page a couple days before the event starts.

A day or two away from the event, a dressup pet usually appears without any news announcement on the site news box. Here is last year’s (the pet is no longer dressed but was a beach scene). The dressup may or may not contain a hint towards the theme of the summer event!
