is it no way to play dress up if i dont pay for cs?

i just started playing and
is it no way to play dress up on my pets if i dont pay for cs or someone gift me dress up items?
does it work like that?
does the dress up sticks to the pet so if i put my pet on signature the pet will get dressed up? or do they work only in dressup challenges?

Hi, welcome to CS!
You can get a bunch of free dress up items from the store, just poke around in there and see what you can find!
And yes, if you dress up a pet and put it in your signature, it will stay dressed up ^^

Hi! I just wanted to add that in addition to the free stuff you can find in the store, a lot of the events (summer and holiday) will have dress up items. So make sure to check back each day during events to see if there’s something new to collect.

on top of that, normal cs users can still trade for c$ and paid items from the c$ store as well! the lost and found is also a great way to obtain older items, you just have to catch it when it's open :>

Another note: If you look through the Item Archives you can put your favorite items/items you want onto your Wishlist, so other users will know what items you're looking to trade for. (This works for pets, too)

You can also find lots of random stuff in the Lost and Found. It's open for longer than the Pound, so poke around there. I've found some nice looking items there.
