What is a "NL"?

I've been off CS for quite a few years. Recently came back, and there's a lot of trading terms. I was wondering what an NL = Non List pet exactly is.

“Non list” just means any pet that is not on the rares list. Most “non list” pets do not have any special values, and are just worth the 3 month rule. For instance, a “non list” very rare is usually worth 2 ‘09 rares, while a very rare ON the list could range from 3 to many more ‘09 rares.

The old rares list was discontinued in 2019. Nowadays, when people refer to the “list” they usually mean horror’s list/guide. There is a lot of great info about trading terms/abbreviations here, I would give it a read!

Also: The term “non-list” has nothing to do with the term “non,” which is a measurement used for high value OMGSR pets on the list. It’s a little confusing!
