can we give pets as payment for art comms??

title ive given like an uncommon for a doodle before or a rare for a sketch so i would say thats comms but im not sure idk if its unfair trading pls help:)))

ty! im glad to know, is there any official/unofficial conversion of like usd to pets or sumn ?? i would like to trade down some of my bigger pets for art but idk how much for example a non would be artwise (a fullbody?? a shaded fullbody?? a head shot ??) obviously not thru like people who sell their pixel dogs for 300 dollars on ebay

there's no defined values afaik, i'd say its up to the artist ^^ if you're not sure, you should ask them!

Yes its usually best to check with an artist, some artists don't like to take pets or will simply list which specific pets they are willing to take on their art shop (like only very rares and up, or only wishlist). If they don't have anything for pets listed, then they may not want pets, but you can always ask. Usually artists will be clear on their thread what they are willing to take as payment.

There is no official amount pets are worth in USD since trading them for USD is not allowed. There are C$-pet conversions but they tend to vary from user to user so again best bet is to just work it out with the artist ^^
