how to fix cropping issue

heyy, i’m honestly not the brightest one out there so maybe this is easy to fix and i’m just dumb idek but. every time i try to add a gif or image to my signature it comes out looking cropped all weird. how do i fix this? do i have to be on a laptop? pls lmk thanks

most likely the image is too big !! youll have to probably resize it; i use lunapic to resize stuff but theres tons of editors out there too :)

You need to upload it somewhere that isn't temporary, if you link directly from lunapic or ezgif etc. it will be deleted eventually to save room on their servers. I recommend imgur or sta.sh if you have deviantart - you can also link directly from Discord as well and it'll never be deleted unless you delete it yourself. I also recommend reorienting your signature to have the text next to an image - it gives you more space to work with since signatures cut off at a certain point.
