2010 valentines fennec fox

Did the 2010 fennec foxes always have that design or were they changed? On a previous account when I was younger I used to have that set but I thought they looked different.

The fennec lines were revamped around the time the horse and pony lines were revamped. The designs are the same but the lines are new.

Do you happen to have a photo of what they lined used to look like?

Just as a note - the reason the lines were changed was that there was sizeable proof that the mid stage, at least, had been traced from a photograph - the same reason the first set of equimagine linearts got retired.
So while the old lines looked pretty cute, it wouldn't have been appropriate to keep them around. You can read the announcement thread here^^
