How do you trade?

I'm new to the game, can anyone help me figure out the trading process. (Im not planning on trading any time soon i just want to know how for the future) Is there some sort of request you make? Or contact someone personally to make a personal trade? I have no idea

Hiya, welcome to CS!
As a quick summary, there are two ways to initiate trades from your end:
1. The first option utilizes a player's profile! While in the forums, there are a couple of links listed below an individual's username. If you select the option labeled "Trade with me", you will be taken to that user's trading center.

Alternatively, if you are looking at someone's profile page, the trade button will appear as follows:


2. The second option goes from your "Trades" page, located at the top of the webpage in your hotbar:

Once in your trading center, you can select "Start Trade"

Then type in the username of the player you would like to trade with! This will then take you to that user's trading center. ^^

If you would like users to send trades to you, you are welcome to advertise your interest in trading in your avatar, your info section in your profile, or make your own trading thread!

Thank you! Ive read the etiquette which was my main concern about trading, if when i started I wouldnt be fair. This helped a lot and i really hope ill stick around in the game
