why are the recent store pets only rare?

ever since the second batch of 2020's store pets, they've all been marked rare instead of very rare. does anyone know why?

rarity depends on how many users have bought them! so if theyre rare, its most likely that they are very popular and a lot of users have bought/have multiple sets!

Rarity is calculated based on how many of that pet is owned across all active accounts. So what D33r princ3 said is true! Those pets are likely just popular. As they get older, it's likely they will go up in rarity as fewer people own them :)
