hello! I'm new to CS so I'm very sorry for all the
questions 3:

how do you change your avatar to something you want?
(like a picture from your device)
every time I seem to try, the picture is either too
big or too small.
is there a website I can use?
is there a easier way to do it?

also! how do I add images to my posts? every time
I try it just shows up as "img" with a little box when
I post it.
am I doing something wrong?

Hi there! If you want to use an image, I suggest changing the dimensions to the required pixel dimensions first (100x100). I use Adobe Resizer to do so, just put in the desired dimensions and then apply it by going to "my account" > profile >edit avatar

As for images, right click on the image you want to post and click "copy image address". When you're posting, use the code , and copy-paste the image address in between the two image brackets. Example: [img]imageaddresshere[/img].

For avatars, try to copy the image address(image’s separate page like this X and paste it in the “Link off site” area on the avatar edit page.

As for images, make sure you still have that image address link and add [img]x[/img] around the link
It will look like this(X is added so you can see how it looks before posting):

Oop looks like someone beat me to it. I would recommend my avatar method over using a resizer if you want the image quality to remain like the original image.
