This is the second time I’ve had to do this… why does this pop up every so often? I don’t understand, and kinda getting tired of it honestly… ;-;



Do I actually need to change my password or disregard it? I know how Apple can be 😂

To keep all your accounts safe, you should not reuse the same password. I'd highly recommend getting unique and secure passwords for all the websites you are a member of. Especially since this password has been compromised in a data leak if your device is correct.

I would highly recommend changing to a new, unique password ASAP (really a good idea to do so from time to time even if you don't get an alert like this, just to be safe). I believe this means your login info was found or suspected to be part of a known data leak, which means someone else might have access to it and could get into your account.

It's also very risky to reuse the same password on so many sites, as in that case if just one of them gets compromised, someone could potentially use the leaked info to access any or all of those accounts. It's a good idea to use a completely different password for every account so that if your info for one site does get leaked somehow, you'd only have to worry about that account and nothing else.
