Where and when do you get special release pets? I see them in the archive from last year but idk where they come from lol

Hi! Special release pets are released on December 18th - when you adopt the rereleased pets, you have a small chance of getting a special release pet (either one from previous years or the new ones for that year!) I hope this helps!
