Items still not showing up on a pet after refresh LOCK TOPIC

I looked for solutions to this in the FAQ, but all I could find was to refresh the View Pet page after saving the items.

I'm still having an issue. I put items on a pet, save the changes, and go to view the pet, but the items don't show up. When I go to the "Add Items" screen, the changes I made WILL show up, they just don't show up when I'm viewing the pet otherwise. Refreshing the page like the FAQ suggests hasn't made any changes either.

I don't doubt this is an issue people have encountered before. Is there any known fix to this that I'm missing? By the way, sorry if this is a known question already. I couldn't find anything when looking, so I thought I would ask. Thank you!

Have you tried F5? Just pressing the refresh button in the browser usually doesn't work for me either.

Just be patient! I added 20+ items to my dragon, and it took a couple minutes to show up.

From experience, it just seems like items take a second to show up sometimes. Refreshing the group the pet is in usually works for me, but when it hasn't the changes will usually show after awhile

I'll try waiting it out for a bit to see if that works. I'll let you know if I'm still running into issues!

In the event you've just been doing a general refresh:
If you do a normal refresh on a page, it doesn't clear the cached images, which will result in the image not updating to reflect the new dressup.
To save loading time on previously visited webpages, cached images are retrieved upon revisiting a page soon after an initial visit. If you do a hard refresh on the page "ctrl + f5", you should be able to clear the cache and have the updated image of the pet pull up. c:

It seems my problem was that I simply wasn't waiting long enough for the items to update. Thank you fo this advice!
