Hello!

Asking them to accept the trade gives them the options to accept the trade, edit the trade, or cancel the trade which is good for standard trades.

Asking them to edit the trade and send it back does not give them the option to accept the trade so it's good for making offers for items a player has locked if they're accepting offers, or offering pets and asking what they'd offer in return if a user allows that, or simply just suggesting a trade you know is unfair and asking the other person to edit if they want. It's just a good protective measure to prevent users from accepting trades and scamming other users out of pets
