Do items You're Using Show Up in Trades?

Ok, so I'd like to start trading my items, however, I don't want people making offers for certain ones. If I put the ones I want to keep on a pet will they still show up? Thanks for any help you can give! <3

The items you put onto a pet won't show up for trading. It's the best way to "hide" items you don't want to trade!
