it says in the archives this is a 2009 pet, and i've seen one dated 2009 in someone else's account

but for some reason.. mine's dated as 2010?
im quite confused right now-

Your pet is an extended release! Just like a few of the 2008 second gens, it was able to be adopted for longer than the initial release month, which is when it is indicated as being adoptable in the archives!
