removing all items at once

i haven’t really been paying much attention to CS, so when i tried dressing up my pets again i saw a LOT changed, but now i for the life of me can’t figure out how to remove all items at once from my pet? and what is the weird square next to the hand, it’s doing absolutely nothing? does it have to do with that i’m on ipad instead of a computer?

On computer you're able to remove all items at once by using the select all fucntion (Ctrl + A), then dragging the items to the box.
I've got to admit, though, i don't know how to do that on an iPad, since I've never used one. But if it has a select all function of sorts, maybe try that?

If not, you'll have to use the "box" (select) tool, yes.
Basically, the box tool is there to let you select multiple items at once. You click and drag to select an area on the pet, and when you switch back to the item drag mode, it will move only the items from the selected area.
It's a bit tricky to get used to using it to actually only select certain areas, but if you just want to move all your items, you simply select an area as big as the entire pet^^

To use the select function on the iPad, you click on the box, drag across to select the items, and click on the button that looks like a cursor to move them.

I do miss the “remove all” button, though...
