I strongly support the idea of being able to adjust whether store pets or special releases should count towards a full collection. Both of these categories can be nearly impossible to acquire for players with no access to money and/or no valuable pets.

Also I was wondering if there is a significant time between receiving a pet to complete a month and having the blue square being replaced with the green tick? I've just received a last pet for a certain month of 2013 (that I thought had been complete for ages, ugh) but no matter how often I refresh the archive, the quare stays (and I have triple checked whether I've missed another pet).

Not sure if you'll see this, but something that helps me is unchecking the box that makes it so that we can see the check marks (now there are no checks), and then rechecking it again.

Ah, thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a go the next time I acquire another pet to complete a month!
I can't remember whether I've tried switching the mode in the archive but maybe that helps to trigger a refresh of the symbols.

I only found out about this recently and am very thankful for it. It turns out I was missing some random pets and had to replace them. I ended up spending a day putting all my trade groups in with my collection ad using the CS helper add on to sort through duplicates. I was concerned I had pets that were only in my trade groups so I made sure I didn't anymore.

I look forward to the item version as well, though it would be really nice if it also counted the amount of items too!
I'm also in support of separating special release pets like the store pets are.
