Wand tool in Oekaki/Chicken paint

I find it quite difficult that the only "wand" tool in chicken paint is the selection box. It makes it incredibly difficult to fix things and definitely slows my process down, Chicken paint is the only art program I can use on my computer too, along with have a understandable platform for me to work with.
Will there ever be a wand tool? When will the next update be?
