Token Boxes

I have to know... am I doing them wrong somehow? It really feels like if I trade in to the same token box right in a row, it doesn't truly randomise my result but somehow just reloads/remembers the last one and gives it to me. Like it doesn't even take a second to load, the page just pops up immediately with the same result, and no, my internet is definitely not that fast.

The token box with the lions, I traded in six in a row and got the exact same lion every time. I got frustrated and gave up and moved on to the next box with the one-eyed dogs. Three this time, and once again, they are all the same result. I've had this problem with every single event the last few years I can remember, and it's tiring having to trade for every other outcome when I can only manage to get one out of it. The only way it doesn't happen is if I trade in to one box, switch to another, then another, then come back... but then they're not grouped nicely together which bugs me. I feel like I'm wasting my tokens because I can't even get a nice variety of extras to trade later.

So what am I doing wrong? Is it something to do with my browser settings? Does my computer suck? Am I really just that unlucky, for every single event?

i ran into the same issue, i recommend just finding someone who has double of what your looking for and trade 3 tokens for it (since thats the og price) or try two wl uncommons per double they have, i feel its just easier to trade for the pets you need, thats what ive been doing because some never showed up for me.
its easier this way in my opinion, and you can sometimes end up with extra tokens that someone may wanna buy so it could be profitable.

You're not doing anything wrong, nor is it anything to do with browser settings or you computer. The token boxes are entirely RNG based, so unfortunately it sounds like you're just unlucky with them :<

Soooo I switched to chrome from firefox after I came back this afternoon and the very first attempt on firefox landed me the exact same one-eye dog as yesterday, and lo and behold on chrome I started actually getting different pets. Hallelujah! I went back to firefox and man, that one-eyed dog again. Maybe CS just hates firefox, or maybe it's bad RNG luck and it's just confirmation bias on my part. I don't know, all I know is it's been a problem for years, not just this one event, but I have a bit of of a variety now and will have to do less trading, so I'm happy. I'll just stick with chrome in the future and cross my fingers I have better luck from now on whether it's RNG and confirmation bias or not. Thanks for the responses. :)
