One of my child pets has PPS, what do I do?

One of my newborn/child pets I got from the adoption center/pound has PPS, if my pet can't grow up how will I know the rarity of the pet and etc? Keep in mind I just joined today, so sorry if I don't get whatever you say.

PPS pets still get rarities! A pet with PPS is functionally the same as a fully grown pet, just with a different lineart c:

Oh, okay. I assume I still have to wait for it to get a rarity though, I actually just figured out that pets get rarities after a month or so so the devs can tell how rare they actually are, and not for when they fully grow, so I assume that its just new.

*Actually quick edit but if you wanna tell me whether or not the pet is new and that's why it doesn't have rarity, which chances are. Then look at my inventory and it should be a kitten, and it should be the one named Rabbit. By the way, no, I didn't actually make it that name, I let the website choose for me.

Yep, that's correct. It takes 1-3 months for pets to get rarities.
