Art comps

Postby Shadow2204 » Wed Oct 30, 2019 7:32 pm

Hey, I'm a little new to the art part of CS (specifically art contests and art shops).

I know that it's not cool to not credit people for the art that they drew but I'm just a little confused on things so any help that I get is completely appreciated <3

    1. When you purchase art from someone (CS currency or CS pets as payment), are you able to take off site?
    - Also, do I have to credit them if I do post it (both for CS and off site)

    2. If I host a art contest, am I able to keep (all) the art entries?

I looked through the pinned threads (like the rules) but it wasn't made clear about these things and I want to double check anyway.

Thank you in advanced for answering my questions! I really don't want to break any rules or become a "art thief" because those people suck for stealing someone's hard work.

1. Yes you can take it off-site, but whenever you post you must credit the artist/s
2. If you write in your TOC you will keep them all, then you are allowed. Usually however, if you don't mention it, it is usually assumed anyone who doesn't win a prize would keep their own artwork.

Thank you so much for your answer!
