What’s light off mean?

So been seeing in nearly everyone one signature “lights off” just curious as to what it means

Heya; "Lights On, Lights Off" is a user-run gifting game that's traditionally run during October. You can find more info on it here, but the basic gist is that you dress up one of your pets as a trick-or-treater, and message other players who have their status set to "lights on" with a little story to potentially receive a little gift (sometimes people may just respond with a "trick", of course!). In turn, you, too will of course receive t-o-t messages from other players and can send them something in response.

If you're interested it's best to read through the thread info properly, though, as it has rules and guidelines and does require users to sign up in order to participate.^^



If a user has Lights Off in their signature, it means that they're participating in Lights On Lights Off. Think of it as real Halloween, if a house (user) has its lights off, that means other users should not trick-or-treat at their house.
