Hey there! im trying to make myself a decent signature but I can really figure out how, it feels too complicating for me, but im trying to get a good picture for my signature

I wanted a picture of Claptrap and zero from borderlands, a video game, but I need to know how I could prevent it from being theft or something

I read a thread about making sure you're not doing art theft but I'm left with more questions then answers, like

where can I get pictures like that? who do I credit, im kinda lost
help would be appreciated a lot!! : )

it's fine as long as you're not using a person's art who didn't give you permission. If it's from a video game then you can use it and won't get in trouble. If you're worried you can always put a link of where you got the picture from so that you're crediting it.
