I can't post freely

Postby Phantomhive_Butlr » Thu Oct 17, 2019 9:31 pm

From what I remember, the rules of CS used to be that once you got your first post approved on a forum, you could start PMing and posting freely from that point forward. I just spent a lot of time creating a thread and now I'm afraid that I won't be able to access it because it "need's a mod's approval." ...Yet I already got my first post approved and have PM's available? This is extremely frustrating, someone please help! It's been hours since I've posted this RP thread and I have been unable to add to it like I was planning on doing originally. I'm just hoping that it's not lost due to a site glitch.

    Heya;
    For regular posts it's true that you will be able to post freely after your first post got approved. However, CS does occasionally scan posts for images which might come from unsafe sources, and the posts of users with lower post counts are subjected to this more often.
    Since you said you were posting a new thread that you spent quite some time on, I'd assume it contained images, in which case the above happened.

    It's simply a safety measure to make sure people aren't getting their first post out of the way to spam inappropriate content, and is going to happen much more rarely once you've been active for a while.^^

Thank you so much for reaching out and replying to this message so quickly! I'm relieved that this is a normal occurence and this actually makes quite a lot of sense. I did use an image, so I can see why this content would be more heavily monitored now. Thank you again for your time!
