How do I set up a background to edit my animals in a scene?

If you're talking about a dress up scene like these, just click "new scene" at the top of the page and you'll be able to choose a background there!
If you're talking about a regular pet dress up you can get to from your pet's page, click "add items to your pet", go to the surroundings tab, the click backgrounds and choose from there! You'll have to click the "rearrange mode" box below the items in order to put the background behind the pet.
