Is there a way to disable the message from a pound pet...

when you trade them away?

I don't really like it, as most of my pound catches are common and it makes me feel guilty and sometimes it makes me a little anxious over the trade.

If not, will there be in the future?

There is no way to remove these messages completely.

However don't fret, as you can set up a PM rule in order to automatically delete such messages. First, go here: Forum/ucp.php?i=pm&mode=options

Set up one of the following rules (you do not require both):

• If sender is [your username], delete message
  
• If subject begins with A message from your pet, delete message

In doing this, you will not see those PMs as they will automatically be deleted since they follow your chosen rule.
