PayPal usage

Hey so I'm really confused about PayPal and their rules/agreements with CS. I really want to buy some storepets, and i was able to access the site through the 'Top up my account'-tab, but it said that I had to be 18 to use PayPal? That really confused me since in my home country (Denmark) you're allowed to shop online, as long as you're over 13 and your 'debit'-account has enough money on it. I couldn't find any specifications on this in the 'Help'-tab, either.

I'm currently -removed- , and hasn't been shopping all that much online, but I really wanted the current store pets. Do I have to wait until I'm 18 to buy C$, or is that only in the US/other related regions?

So according to PayPal’s User Agreement for users in the US, you must be 18+ to use PayPal if you are in the US: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/u ... le.x=en_US

I couldn’t find anything that clearly stated an age. The closest I can find is this, a section in the Privacy Statement:

which says that people under the age of majority should not be using PayPal. There’s a similar section in the Privacy Statement for the US, but replacing “age of majority” with “age of 13”. So that section might not be referring to, say, ages 13-17...

Not sure what the age cutoff is for Denmark. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help OTL Maybe someone can find a specific age in one of the links on the list of Denmark legal agreements?

PayPal is a third party with no strong connection to CS (as far as I can tell, CS is just another vendor that uses PayPal for payment), so if no one else knows here then you’re probably better off asking PayPal about it
