CS poll votes not reseting

Hi CS staff! I recently changed my trade topic to be easter themed, so I added a new poll. However, I don't know if this is just my screen but, the votes from my last poll are showing up on the new one. I know 21 people have not voted in the last 20 minutes, so there must be something wrong. Again, this could just be on my screen, but I tried reloading and using other tabs and nothing seemed to work. Thanks for your time

have you just tried deleting the poll from the topic and then re-entering it again to see if the votes still carry over? it could be plausible for 21 people to vote in 20 minutes if your topic frequently appears on the front page/if you’ve bumped it recently and other people see it.

I know it's the votes that carried over, because each option has the exact same amount of votes as the one that was in it's place qwq Thanks for replying though, I'm not sure what you menan by delete the poll, (I'm new to the whole polls thing), but I had backspaced everything in the previous poll.

oh, alright!

okay, so, what i mean by “delete the poll” is to edit your post and copy-paste everything from your current poll (like the options and the title and anything else, so that you don’t lose it) onto somewhere. then, backspace the options and the title of the poll (like you did with your previous poll), and then submit that as a post, so that there’s no longer a poll. after that, just paste your poll options (that you had copied earlier) back into the poll section, and then submit that as a post. i realize that what i’m saying might be incredibly confusing, but to simplify things, i’m trying to get at a sort of “have you tried turning it off and on again” logic. delete your current poll and then just re-enter it to see if the votes reset then.
