Turn off Pound messages?

I'd love the option to choose whether or not you get those sad messages when trading away a pound pet. I can see how they'd be helpful to some users but they just make me really depressed

I also don't like seeing the notification for a new message only to find it's.... that.

If you'd like to disable the pound from sending these messages, you can do so by going to your inbox > going to "rules, folders and settings" > where it says "If: subject", click next > change the drop down box to "is" and click next > type the following into the box: A message from your pet > choose "delete message" from the drop down box and click add rule! (:
