help/question about events/pet release dates

okay so i have a big goal of getting all the pets i have to be on the first day they were released. for the monthly pets on average they are all on the first. (ex. 2017-01-01, 2018-02-01, 2019-03-01, and so on). however for some of the older pets i seem to only see them released on specific days, even though i don't think they were part of any event (at lease they aren't in an event category in the archive)

ex. the pups part of this litter, i can only find released on 2011-05-16 the earliest instead of 2011-05-01. and they aren't part of any event. page


the same goes for others, even in events, such as this horse litter. Valentines should be a 1 day event on the 14th right? but these guys i only seem to see on 2012-02-21 instead of 2012-02-14 page


so my question is, am i just not seeing these pets on their actual release dates, or are these actually them? and does anyone know anymore like these guys??

question 2. is there any way that i can find out what the first date of each pets release date was for events?
for example, the medieval event, what pets were first released on what days?

I'm usually not too picky about adoption dates so I never noticed these and this made me curious so I dug around a bit
first post I found mentioning those dogs
I believe they were released for the artist's birthday, as per this post.

EDIT: There actually was a news post for this May comes AFTER April, good job self

As for the horses, I found This news post, so I believe they're an extra release.

As for the second (third?) question, I don't know. For events I'd look for the threads where event discussion took place to find when they started.

With the search function, look for the name of the event or '[event name] discussion' (which also works for monthly threads) on this board (Chicken Smoothie Discussion), or the event board (Chicken Smoothie Events Discussion)
for example,

That horse litter was indeed released on 21st February back then. ^^
Leurai mentioned them in the discussion thread and they were first posted then on the outcome thread.
