What is a list pet?

I've been on this site for a year and still haven't figured out what a list pet is! I'd like to know what they are and what makes them a list pet. Thank you in advance!

A list pet is an older pet that tends to be of more value and demand, for a pet to be on the list they need to atleast be VR, list pets can range from 3-4 09 rares, to hundreds, there are different tiers and differents sets of lists, being the Advent List, September List, And the Main list. The advent list is worth less than the september and main, and the main list is the most valuable.
