Ok, so i know about the december 18th pets, but how do you get the special release pets like this boio right here:

and the pickle and the peach.

also, can you only get one december 18th pet a year?

Each time December 18th roles around, you can adopt up to 3 rereleased pets. During this time there is a small chance that you might get a special release instead.

They're only released on December 18th, and it's by chance. C: you get to adopt 3 pets from the box, and they contain all the rares cs has, so it's possible you can get recent rares or even old ones or lists! You do have a chance of getting a UR, but it's pretty small. (That's how they stay OMGSR / VR)

The three zebras have a small chance of being adopted when you adopt the monthly horses, but it's very very rare to be able to get one that way.
