Selling and advertising adoptable designs from DeviantArt

As far as I can tell, it should be okay to sell my adoptable designs (drawn and designed entirely by myself) for real money and/or deviantArt points on CS, but I just want to double check with a mod if it truly is okay.

Also, I'd assume that I would post my designs in this forum? Please do tell me if there is a better suited forum though. I don't want to do the wrong thing!
