When it comes to us traders, we often run into problems, such as NFT pets in unlocked groups, when it can simply be locked up. If we do misread or make a mistake of offering on pets that we don't know it was nft, it can make the trading experience negative if the person we wish to trade with gets angry at us for something we didn't know, a misunderstanding.
As traders, we sometimes forget to lock a pet group, and become devastated if we accidentally trade a pet that means a lot to us.
Plus, this will be a great way to prevent new users from getting unwanted trades from "pets without a group" and getting ninja traded. (Especially around December 18th)
However, there is a way to prevent pets being accidentally being traded away: by changing the default setting to "Nobody can make offers on these pets"
This is the current setting, when we make a pet group, the first option is "Everyone can make offers on these pets" as default:
The suggestion is to change the default setting to "Nobody" (Nobody can make offers on these pets) so it's the first thing you see when you make a pet group by default:
This would be an awesome way to remind people to lock their pets if they don't want trades, and if this suggestion does go live, players can simply manually unlock trading groups of pets they do want to trade, instead of going through piles of pet groups to lock up or rename "NFT"
That way, you don't have to put "NFT" in your group names and your pet names, and to make trading more fun and easier. C:
This option won't defeat the showcase purpose, this is a safety net for those who don't know what their pets are worth, along Keeping the pets you wish NOT to showcase safe and sound.
Disclaimer: I am not talking about anyone in the examples given, nor making this a rant. It's simply examples from observation I've seen in the community, and to provide its own supporting reasons to this idea. C:
