Since its popped up again in my posts section I want to say I still don't support it.
They're my pets and I deserve the option to do what I want with them. Selfish or not. Especially store pets that I've bought

no support, i like the idea of being able to delete a pet.

i did delete a pet once (maybe more than once, it was years ago) that was recieved from someone i knew irl. i will spare the details, but it was toxic and i was treated very poorly. deleting it was something that really helped me, and didn't hurt them at all.

people should be able to do what they want with their pets, once something has been traded away it's no longer yours and you don't really have a say in what happens to the pet.

This thread came back into my feed again and I'd like to make it known that I still don't support this.

If you don't want to delete any pets, you don't have to. But people who want to, should be able to. I don't want to give my pets away just because somebody said I should. If I traded for them, they are mine to decide what to do with them. People say the same about hoarding, because "somebody else might want one!" ...But I traded for it, it's mine to hoard, if that's what I want to do. Same goes for deleting.

Just don't use the delete button if you don't like deleting pets. I would support maybe moving the delete button to somewhere else on the screen since people seem to accidentally delete pets sometimes, but I don't support the removal of the button altogether because it's the player's right to do whatever they want with the pets that they traded for and earned. Nobody has to give their pets away just because they were asked to.

No support. I don’t see a good reason to. I get a pet I should be able to do whatever I want with it. If that includes deleting it, than I should and will.
