Imgur does in fact give you all the codes you may need c:
For ImageTo get the code on imgur, you have to click on the image after you upload it and you will get a menu like
thisThey are all labeled what they are above them,
The first one, "Image Link" is to link to the imgur post of it
The second, "Direct Link" is the .png/.jepg - the same as you would get by right clicking and hitting copy image address
The third, "Markdown Link" - is, well, I have no idea, apparently it's used for Reddit Comments
The fourth, "HTML" is just that, the HTML coded link
The fifth, "BBCode", again, exactly as it says, it's the BBC code or the image with the [img ][/img ] tags already around it for you
The last, "Link BBCode" is an already BBCoded image with a link back to the imgur post
For Gif OnlyFor a gif, you will get a menu with different option, which looks like
thisThe first one, "Image Link" is to link to the imgur post of it. Same option as images
The second, "Direct Link" is the video version of the gif. As you can see, it has .gifv rather than .gif at the end. This link cannot be used in BBC btw!
The third, "Original Gif Link" is the .gif version - the same as you would get by right clicking and hitting copy image address
The fourth, "Markdown Link" - is, well, I have no idea, apparently it's used for Reddit Comments
The fifth, "HTML" is just that, the HTML coded link
The sixth, "BBCode", again, exactly as it says, it's the BBC code or the image with the [img ][/img ] tags already around it for you
