Uh, How Often DO You Bump?

Hello ;w;

I know this sounds like a dumb question, but I don't know how often to bump! One of my past trading threads was locked because it wasn't clear which "board" to bump after it got off, so I believed it was the "Latest Posts" on the homepage (which goes super quickly) :lol:

I am now seeing people bumping multiple times on the home page repeatedly, before it gets off the trading or auction board.

I've tried to report it but I don't know under what category, or if it doesn't even matter.

Please help!

yeah you're supposed to bump once your post is off of the first page of the forum it is in
if you are bumping too frequently a moderator/admin will give you a warning
i do not think it's anything you can report as it's not too big of a deal
but if you ignore the warning, your post will be locked

You bump when it's not on the first page of which forum it is on. Like if it was on the 'free adoptable' page you would bump when it's not on that first page. People who bump when it's still on the first page of CS in general is spamming.

I try to warn them because I don't want their threads being locked, but they just seem to ignore me ;o

If you notice someone is bumping too frequently you can report one of their posts using the triangular '!' button and explaining the situation. The mods will then deal with it as appropriate. ^_^
