How do you delete a topic/post?

I have heard people talking about how you can delete a topic you've made, like in the trading forums when you don't need a trading post any longer. Can someone tell me how to do this?

Just edit all the information out and edit the title to MODS DELETE PLEASE/PLZ. That signals the Mods to delete your post.

You can delete a post/topic yourself if nobody's posted after you yet.
