My apologies if posting a 3rd time on this page is cluttering it up too much. I just had another idea: I would love seeing more halloween costumes released later this year that our PPS kiddos can wear. Right now most costumes are designed for the adults, so i thought it would be great if more of our little ones can get in on the fun this year.

I was viewing Matsuyan's thread, where they're hosting giveaways in honor of someone who passed of Leukemia. They use a certain orange pet to represent the orange ribbon for Leukemia awareness.

I was wondering if it was possible to campaign for actual awareness ribbons to be added?

I understand that the subject matter of cancer (and chronic illness in general) is... heavy for a site that, I'm guessing, is primarily used by kids and young adults. But I'd say it's also just as possible that if a person is so young that they've yet to encounter serious illness in some way, those users wouldn't recognize the ribbon anyways and probably just... I don't know, see it as cute?

For users of CS, CS is not some special, safe haven on the internet that shies away from discourse surrounding real-world topics and issues. Everyday people post about their problems; whether that's that a loved one passed from cancer, or that they've got a crush they can't talk too. This forum has turned into more than just a virtual pet site. We have items that reflect the real world in all sorts of forms; festive, cultural gear, Holiday items, food. We have other kinds of ribbons already. We have activists already. All we need is the real deal.

If this is already a thing, I'd love for someone to point it out to me! But as far as I know, I've never seen awareness ribbons as items that could be put on pets!

Hearing aids/cochlear implants/Baha boxes - all things deaf kids wear. Maybe some of them have little cords with clips (called ear-gear) that clip to a pet's shirt.

Different color support ribbons (really pushing for the zebra and the silver-and-gold ones here)

Hello, I was just thinking how there is a pet pound, but not a item pound. So I thought, why not give this suggestion:

I was thinking that maybe there could be an item pound as well. Instead of how the pet pound works, the item pound could open ever 2 hours for users to "adopt" one item per opening from the players who are quitting or who have been banned.


What do you think?
