Problem adopting pets...

I guess it's because the server is so slow, and it's so easy for it to overload or something, I don't know...
But anyways, I went to adopt the new Malks, and when I clicked the adopt button, I got a message about the server overloading and telling me to refresh. So I did, and got the General Error message, so I did it again several times before I could get the page back, and it had told me I already maxed out on the adopts. So I went and checked my pets, and they're not there...at all. It's not a broken thumbnail or anything, they just never showed up..

Has anyone else had this problem? Will they show up later or something, or am I going to have to trade to get them? =/

The Malk egg up there right now is the same one that's been there since the beginning of April, they're not new. ^_^
