To get to the drawing part of Oekaki, you will need to go to the overall "Oekaki forums" and select the category you want to draw in: Animals/Creatures, Human/Humanoid, Landscape/Scenery, etc.
Once you've decided which category you want to draw in, you can scroll down to the top of the displayed recent drawings and select the "New Drawing" button:

Be sure to check out the Oekaki rules if you haven't had the chance to do so ^^

Can you download your drawing from Oekaki without posting it to the forum?

Yes! Right click on your unposted drawing in the "edit an unfinished drawing" menu, and copy the image address. It should give you a URL that looks like this:
    Code: Select all
    https://www.chickensmoothie.com/oekaki/image/image.php?id=3696072&size=small&format=jpg&rev=1599049629

If you change the part of the URL that says "small" to "large" and go to that URL, you should be able to view you drawing in it's full size and download it onto your device from there.

The URL should look like this:
    Code: Select all
    https://www.chickensmoothie.com/oekaki/image/image.php?id=3696072&size=large&format=jpg&rev=1599049629

♥screamingrainfrog♥ wrote:Hey sorry if this has already been addressed somewhere or if this isn't allowed but I'm having problems with the oekaki. Every time I switch from pen to eraser I can no longer go back to using the pen, it just stops working. I have to save and exit out of oekaki and then go back in to continue using the pen.
Also another thing I've noticed if my pen texture (?) looks really weird, it's all bumpy instead of smooth. This doesn't change when I mess around with the brush settings or when I change the brush. I am on mobile and I don't have any pen pressure so I'm not sure if that's a part of the problem or not.
Thanks in advance for any help ^^
Edit: just remembered another thing, the size of the brush is also really difficult to change. I can move it from like 20-70 and it stays around the same size.

Hey, I'm still having problems with this as well as having problems with the water colour brush. The water colour brush doesn't work at all for me :(

Is anyone else having a bug with the scroll or know how I can fix it?

The issue is with every type of Oekaki; I have try changing all of them (ChibiPain, Chicken Pain...).
It seems to be in every browser I try; Firefox, Chrome, Edge and Opera.
The scroll bar for the side of the Oekaki seems to run out of space and not scroll more. If I am zoomed in I literally can not scroll to the top of the canvas and I have to do this really frustrating zoom in and out to get to the top of the page.
Sometimes when I zoom in the scroll bar is also half missing at the end of the page.

This issue has lead me to ruining multiple piece of artwork and a lot of rage.
A solution would be real useful please?

(It's impossible to scroll to the top of canvas when zoomed in. More so on a large canvas.)
This is the scroll bar disappearing.

What device and browser are you using? Does this issue happen on only one browser, or multiple?

How do I make it so anyone can color my drawing instead of adding them one by one?

I'm looking for an artist to design a ribbon / rosette base for the Egyptian Razorbacks closed-species competitions. Willing to pay well depending on your skill level. Please PM me with examples of your work.
