How To Add Backgrounds to Your Pet?

Hi!
I really need help!
Can anyone tell me how to put backgrounds on pets?
Every time i try to, it just gets in front of my pet
Please, i would really appreciate it

Once you've put the background on you need to go into the re-arrange mode. (A small button in the right-hand corner)
Once you've done that you need to click on the background and press the green arrow that's facing down. (The arrow facing upwards makes it above everything)

Ticking the box in the corner will still work on the iPad. :) Just tap the item and then the down arrow and it should move just fine. :)
