Hairless dogs, sphinx cats, or just other hairless animals in general.
Maybe some lions based on the Tsavo man-eaters. (Mostly maneless male lions)
Realistic lion cubs. (Slightly spotted)
Mountain lion inspired lions.
More smilodon inspired patterns on the lions.
Borneo bay cat inspired lions. (Google them, they're gorgeous)
Thylacine dogs. (We don't already have those, do we?)
Jerboa inspired rats.

the dog/wolf seems to be most popular.
let's have a litter of ones of varying degrees of dirtyness and general unkempt. green grass stain dogs, yellowed dogs. scruffy greyed street dogs. dogs that got juice on them, shooty dogs, a really dirty one with flies around it

Spider dogs, crab dogs, insectoids? Too bad Halloween has passed.

i was going to suggest crabs. i see a facebook video with crabs. Calico Box Crab ... and some grey crab with blue spots.

so i guess color some spiders as the pretty kind of crabs out there.
