Cause they was released in february 2016

they wasnt released in 1st day as other pets but almost in the end of the month and was possible to adopt them also whole march (or almost whole...not sure right now)

they were first adoptable in february 2016 then were extended in to march,
so they are under their first adoptable date ; just here c:

In the July pets, there is a orange dog which isn't in the archive.

If you mean this one, it just grew tonight and the archive hasn't been updated since rollover tonight yet; none of the pets that grew or were released tonight are in there. The archive has to me updated manually, it's not automatic. As said on the front page;

Please don't report missing pets until it's been at least a week since they grew to adult stage. Please don't report pets which haven't finished growing yet. We can only archive pets once they are fully grown, and we don't update the archive every day.

So it has to do with the new event...

When I go to adopt the squid and dragon, it only says I can get one
When I try to get the kind and queen lions, I put in 7 items but the trade now button is shaded out?

you can adopt up to 5 total pets.. once you hit 5, you cant adopt again (it will go to the page like you can adopt one, then it wont let you adopt)

check your items, you may have put in more than 7

edit (it also will pop up ^ You've added too many items! You only need 7 of these in total. above the trade button- or you may have accidentally removed one and not have 7 on there
