If you recently recieved the pet in a trade, it can take a little bit for the archive to register that you own the pet! Either give it a few minutes, or do a hard refresh of the page (ctrl + f5)!
That's the thing though, it wasn't just a few minutes. I got the original bunny on the 21st and the new bunny on the 29th in a trade because the archive was telling me I didn't have it. Same sort of situation with the dog expect I had two of the dogs to begin with instead of one.
