Pound lag getting worse?

not just the pound. the whole site is often very laggy for me tbh (including rn), i know it's not my internet since other sites work fine

The guest count keeps climbing then falling in waves, and it was nearly at 6k at 11:37AM EST. CS is currently getting some kind of DDOS attack at the moment. It started a few minutes before pound, and it's still going. (There's a significant pattern to suspect an DDOS attack, I've already mentioned this to simon)

Please do not suggest that CS is experiencing a DDOS attack as that is a serious event and could cause unnecessary panic.

It is just web scraper bots. Nick takes care of them when they’re identified. If you see the user count rise to an abnormal amount, just submit a help ticket using this link here and we’ll let him know: help/gethelp

What is the web scraper bots scraping to cause this? How am I causing panic when most of the userbase knows what's going on isn't normal?

This has been going on for an hour, and nothing is being addressed. That is why I made a post, people have been talking about it in public/linked CS servers. We're suspecting it is. I've already helped with sending a site ticket, this is something that needs to be seriously addressed since it's been going on for a few days with no acknowledgement

Pound lag is getting much worse but whats up with the multitude of guests the past few days? Its hard to understand especially when you're a mod in a server and have to try and help not worry people/deal with those who can be upset thanks to it (and understandably so. Pound lag was horrid, I'm surprised I got a good pet from it)

saw SO many pets just now that i would have wanted get snatched up before mine had even fully loaded in 😮‍💨 i haven't been playing much at all recently bc of school, but it's gotten significantly worse within the last month evidently

last opening was pretty bad for me too. i had some of the best pets that had shown up on a page for me in a while but it took so long to load in that they were all gone by the time i saw them ;_;

I havent been logged out and the countdown fixed a lot of the lag issues for me, I havent had a issue in a while
