Sorry for posting on this old topic, I just had something to add.
I think they are working on the 1x1 Roleplay split idea.
But for the Separating literacy it has been rejected many times, because there are no set definitions, and if CS tried to set them, people would disagree. And people already right about their oekaki drawings being i the wrong place. Do we really need more people running around and posting on people's topics saying "This isn't literate you fail typer"?
And they are considering an Advanced oekaki, on an invite only basis.

Shining light on this idea again:
I would think that Semi-Lit/Literate would be along the lines of a
paragraph or two with correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Regular would be anything below that criteria?

Maybe we should have the role plays be checked before entering the forum?
That would create more work for the mods though. When I create a role play,
I often look at the user's past posts so that I know what they are capable of.
Maybe Nick could add that into the CS system. I'm sure that many CS users would
appreciate this new addition to the community. :]
