Oekaki problem

I have had a oekaki problem recently, and that problem is if I click 'Save oekaki' it will say that it's contacting server but I've waited for about an hour for it to finally save it but it's still 'Contacting the server'! Is it a problem with the Oekaki itself or is it just my computer even thought it never had done that before....?
